Year three years out of the last 10) trains competitive skiers and riders,
providing students with the kind of coaching and facilities that only a large
and well-established club can offer.

Mt. Mansfield Winter Academy is a private, independent school that provides a quality academic program for student-athletes competing in winter sports at the elite level. It is the academy’s belief that each student be
treated as a unique individual. Faculty, staff and coaches foster academic
excellence, athletic commitment, independence, responsibility, respect and
confidence. We provide the support and direction necessary for each young
person to realize his/her personal potential and achieve his/her goals. The
program is noted for allowing students to achieve all this while remaining connected to family, “sending school” and home community. Interested
candidates should have a minimum of two years prior race experience.

National Sports Academy
NSA is located in the center of Lake Placid. Our training sites are the
Olympic venues, and our students train and compete in a variety of Olympic winter sports. Classes are small, and the academic program is designed
to promote intellectual curiosity, independence and responsibility.
