Overview: Team Gilboa exclusively occupies the Aubrey Lodge on Mt.
Hood’s White River. We’re very excited to return to our loved rustic site
tucked in the woods with Mt. Hood as a backdrop. The secluded location of our lodging removes the distractions of unsupervised activities
of Government Camp and provides an unmatched opportunity for team
bonding, athletic challenge, personal growth, and good-natured fun with
24-hour adult supervision. It’s an atmosphere that allows us to take full
advantage of our opportunity to discover new boundaries in our athletes’
achievements. Mornings consist of training on snow from 7 a.m. to noon
on a snowfield high above timberline. With high-speed quad chairlifts and
great conditions, athletes get so much accomplished. Afternoons consist of
a fun outdoor activity to continue the development of the athlete’s physical
conditioning. The evening consists of a team meeting and video analysis to
get ready for the next day. The daily plan provides an extremely productive
training environment to get the athlete to the next level. Collegiate Division 1 ski racers are there to provide pace and visual learning, while experienced coaches mentor and develop each and every athlete.
