COLLEGIATE NORDIC SKIER OF THE YEAR
Heading into NCAAs, Colorado’s Matt Gelso, New Mexico’s
Martin Kaas, and Vermont’s Franz Bernstein were among the
frontrunners for this honor. Kaas finished fifth and second in
Steamboat; Gelso finished first and third; Bernstein finished
first and second. Advantage Bernstein, who won a total of six
collegiate races this season, including a pair of wins at the
Middlebury College EISA finals.
