Back in the Groove
This is my 16th season as a race parent. It feels
like 60. Resi just headed off to training camp in
La Parva and Seppi visited the White House for
a University of Denver ski team NCAA Cham-
pionship honoring. It sounds like a dream for a
ski racing family. For the Stieglers, it has been a
three-year nightmare of five surgeries and hun-
dreds of hours in rehab. So why are we so excited
about the approaching ski season — are we cra-
zy? Yes, we are crazy in love with snow, winter,
mountains and sport. We love our big wonderful
ski family of coaches, athletes, press people, ski
technicians, race officials and parents. We love
