The women of the World Cup got a chance to sleep in and stay up late earlier this month at night races in Munich, Germany; and Zagreb, Croatia. The Munich event, a parallel slalom for 16 of the World Cup’s top men and women with 100 overall points going to the winner, brought excitement and controversy. The Zagreb night slalom saw the Snow Queen crown placed atop a familiar head.
