STRATTON MOUNTAIN SCHOOL
Snowboarding Freestyle Alpine Nordic ; ; ;
sphere, on-staff nurse, and experienced 24-hour
supervisors support younger athletes and camp
first-timers in a fun and nurturing environment.
On the hill, the athletes work with professional
coaches who work with kids for a living. Slalom
and GS free skiing, drill courses and full training
courses are designed to get the most out of the
kids each day. Once off the hill, campers can
choose their afternoon activities, such as rock
climbing or field games, and design a schedule
that suits their needs. At the same time, camp
meetings, ski group video analysis and meals
together reinforce the team feel. Compared with
other ski camps, we spend less time hanging
out during “free time” and focus more on fun,
fitness and what we came here to do — train!
There is always adult supervision. We are the
first and only camp to be American Camping
Association (ACA) accredited. ACA is the leader for safe practice and camp standards. You’ll
notice that we have lots of nice, friendly touch-es and take fun, quality, supervision and safety
very seriously. While camp is in session, parents
can access our online Camp Diary for a taste of
what we are up to, and archive photo galleries
are available online free of charge long after the
goggle tan has faded. For those traveling from
New England we offer a staff chaperoned group
flight from Boston to Portland. Also, no hidden
costs! All-inclusive pricing.
