Universal Sports commentator and Vermont resident Doug Lewis found a different type of assignment when he provided the on-site PA announcements for Co-chran’s annual Thank God for Snowmaking Race in Richmond, Vt. “Man, that’s a lot
harder than calling a race for Universal,” Lewis said after wrapping up the event. For

Warner Nickerson is a resourceful and socially responsible dude.
He also loves to ski race and

fashioning himself some custom
shin guards in the nick of time to
finish 12th in the slalom.
Ambassador Vonn

Lindsey Vonn have in common?

But they also are all Youth Olympic ambassadors. The first three
served at last year’s inaugural
Youth Olympic Games in Singapore and, according to an announcement made by the IOC
this month, Vonn will mentor
athletes at the first-ever Winter
Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck next year.
