Beads…of sweat
In July, the U.S. Alpine Women’s Ski Team
gathered in Utah for a conditioning camp
built around an unconventional triathlon.
The athletes were split into three teams, assigned a team state and required to design
uniforms for each of the three legs: trail running, road biking and speed skating. Team
Hawaii went for the luau look, Team Texas
donned rodeo queen dresses and Team
Louisiana got into the Mardi Gras spirit with
the occasional censored flash. The coaches? They were Team Nevada: Reno 911.
