WAXROOM We thought we recognized a Vail accent inside that giant head! During a press conference in Soelden, Lindsey Vonn got a special hug from Youth Olympic Games 2012 mascot Voggl. Turns out Voggl is actually Harvard nordic racer and Vail native Tony Ryerson, who is spending a semester in Austria. Small world.

Nichols as just opened a wine bar named Cork near Stowe, Vermont. “This whole process, I’ve
been in tears, just jumping for joy,” Nichols told the Waterbury Record. Sounds a lot like some ski
racers the Waxroom knows.
