Academics and Overview: Since 1993, students from New England
and beyond have come to MMWA for our highly individualized winter pro-
gram in Stowe, Vt. MMWA faculty and staff coordinate with MMSC coach-
es to combine academic excellence with outstanding results on snow. Mt.
Mansfield Ski Club offers the finest athlete training, coaching and devel-
opment (on and off-slope). The coaching staff provides exceptional ath-
letic core and strength training programs (both onsite and remote) during
the off season to maximize racing results; video analysis incorporated
into the training sessions, and summer and preseason ski training camps
are offered annually.

Training Facilities: The slopes of Mt. Mansfield and Spruce Peak at
Stowe Mountain Resort, including Main Street trail, a dedicated race train-
ing course. Main Street allows for exceptional 2,000-foot vertical training
runs with an enormous variety of terrain. MMSC’s recent expansion of
its clubhouse, now encompassing more 14,000 square feet, includes a
state-of-the-art gym and strength training facility as well as video-viewing
facilities.

Overview and Academics: NSA is located in the center of Lake Placid.
Our training sites are the Olympic venues, and our students train and
compete in a variety of Olympic winter sports. Classes are small, and the
academic program is designed to promote intellectual curiosity, indepen-
dence and responsibility. Competitive college preparatory curriculum in-
cludes: accreditation with the New York State Association of Independent
Schools (NYSAIS) and the National Association of Independent Schools
(NAIS); individualized travel curriculum, online access to assignments
