came down the pitch, whether it was Kasper or a
first-year J2. “It takes a long time to become a really good racer,” said Nickerson. “Those racers at
the back, those are the guys really working hard.
That’s why I enjoy watching them.” Buck Hill legends Ankeny, Strand and Ide were on top of the
podium throughout the weekend. A nine-point
result on Feb. 25 was a career-best for Ankeny.
