Park City’s Sarah Hendrickson took her second World Cup win on
Jan. 8 with a dominating, 107.5-meter ride in Hinterzarten, Germany.
Joining her on the podium was teammate Jessica Jerome in third. That
makes two out of three victories for the 17-year-old Hendrickson, along
with a secure lead in the inaugural World Cup women’s ski jumping
standings over Coline Mattel of France. It also means the U.S. has podiumed an all World Cup events so far, and leads the Nations Cup. “To
have three of us in the top 10 — no other nation can say that today,”
said Hendrickson. “We train hard and compete well.
