Go Back to the Throwback The Waxroom spotted U.S. Ski Team alum Kaylin Richardson inside the Deer Valley World Cup VIP tent in this sharp 80s-era one-piece suit. Way to wear it, Kaylin; nice to see you’ve found your inner piece.
The High Life
Forget schlepping skis and boots through airports
and coach class. This is how several members of
the U.S. Ski Team got to travel to Sochi, aboard the
Russian ski team’s private jet. Must be nice — but
where’s the chilled vodka?

McPhie gets her Wings
American moguls skier Heather McPhie joined an elite group of
athletes the day before competition kicked off in Deer Valley. She became the first moguls skier ever to be sponsored by Red Bull, joining top
alpine racers Lindsey Vonn and Erik Guay and freeskier Tanner Hall on
the team of top international athletes from a broad range of sports. “I am
so excited — I’ve been pushing the sport and we’ve been working on
it for a couple months,” said
McPhie after taking a pair of
podium finishes in Deer Valley. “Red Bull is absolutely incredible, all about high performance and doing everything
it takes to be the best — I feel
like we really match up well.”
