RACING ON THE
Grade school geography teaches us that Russia is big —
remember that big spinning globe on the shelf? — but that does not
prepare for the sheer size of Rosa Khutor, essentially a ski resort
opened in 2011 to host the XXII Olympic Winter Games. The place is
huge, the mountains soar; it is a new frontier.
